What to do with this activity?
Daffodils are one of the first flowers to arrive in spring. Their vivid yellow colour really brightens up our parks and gardens.
Help your child make daffodils from an egg carton and brighten up your home. Here are some simple instructions from Mr P. We suggest attaching a green plastic drinking straw to each daffodil to make a stem.

Why am I doing this?
One of the ways children learn is through play. A child who is playing is refining learning skills that continue to develop during childhood and beyond. Indoor and outdoor games are a great way of practising some of the reading, writing and number skills your child has learned.
